Will the place where Jews flee be affected by the tribulation's earthquakes and volcanoes?
No. The protected place prepared for the fleeing remnant will be miraculously spared. That little portion of the planet will not come under the volcanic and earthquake upheaval taking place everywhere else. God will keep them in total safety and security for three and a half years, just as He sustained a multitude in the wilderness for forty years.
Les explains that during the tribulation, God will protect the remnant who flee to the wilderness. He points back to how God provided food, water, and clothing that did not wear out for several million people and their livestock for forty years. If God could sustain them then, He can sustain a smaller remnant for three and a half years. Les says He will totally protect them from all the ravages going on around them; that little portion of the planet will not come under the volcanic and earthquake activity taking place everywhere else, and they will be in total safety and security for three and a half years.
