What is the wrath and vexation of God mentioned in Psalm 2?

It refers to the last half of the Tribulation, following the first three and a half years, triggered at the midpoint when the Antichrist defiles the Temple and turns on the Jews. That period is beyond human description, and Psalm 2 labels this severe future judgment as God's wrath and vexation.

Les teaches that Revelation 12 describes the midpoint of the Tribulation. At that point the Antichrist will come in, defile the Temple, and turn on the Jews, who for the most part had enjoyed a semblance of religious freedom during the first three and a half years. The first half is not a Sunday school picnic for the world, because there will be much war, famine, pestilence, and turmoil. But the midpoint triggers the last half, which is beyond human description, and that is what Psalm 2 refers to as the wrath and vexation of God.
