What does the fine linen in Revelation 19:8 represent?

Revelation 19:8 states that the fine linen, clean and white, with which the bride is arrayed, represents the righteousness of the saints, that is, the believers. It identifies the church's righteous standing, showing that believers are granted this clothing as they accompany Christ.

Les teaches that Revelation 19:8 gives the clue that the church will indeed be with Christ. The bride is granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, and the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints, the believers. In Matthew 25:31, Jesus spoke only of angels coming with Him and left the church out because it was still a secret, but Revelation reveals the church's inclusion.

Revelation 19:8

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
