When is the prophecy of Israel's return to the land being fulfilled?
The prophecy is being fulfilled now, over the last fifty years, as Jews return to the land of Israel. Ezekiel's dry bones vision depicts Israel out among the Gentile nations, then God opens their graves and brings them into their own land. This return is happening in the present age.
Les teaches that the dry bones prophecy in Ezekiel 37 is unique to the nation of Israel. The dry bones represent the Israelites or Jews scattered out in the Gentile nations, which is their grave; they have no life outside the land of promise. In verses 11-14, God promises to open their graves, cause them to come up, bring them into the land of Israel, put His Spirit in them, and place them in their own land. Les points out that this has been visibly happening now for the last fifty years. The two sticks in verses 15-16, representing the northern and southern kingdoms, are put end to end, showing God will gather the children of Israel from among the heathen on every side and bring them into their own land.
Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
