Les Feldick Bible Study

When will the land promised to Abraham be fulfilled and become Israel's homeland?

The territory given as a title deed to Abraham will not be fulfilled until Christ sets up the kingdom. At that time it will become the homeland of Israel, with the twelve apostles sitting under Christ's throne in Jerusalem and ruling the twelve tribes.

Les teaches that all that territory of the Middle East inhabited by these tribes was given as title deed to Abraham. It will not become fulfilled until Christ sets up the kingdom, and then it will be the homeland of Israel. The twelve apostles will sit under Christ's throne there at Jerusalem, ruling these twelve tribes. That is the kingdom as the twelve apostles understood it. Paul then picks it up and speaks of the kingdom; since the kingdom is not now on earth but in heaven, Paul speaks of our citizenship as being in heaven. At salvation, we were translated from darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son in heaven. When Christ returns to the earth with His kingdom, we will be with Him. The early apostles were adherents of this earthly kingdom; Paul taught it, John taught it, and one who wrote the Book of Revelation.
