What is Israel in God's dealing with the human race?
In God's dealings with the human race, Israel is His earthly people, distinct from the church, which is His heavenly people. This division is essential when reading and studying the Bible, as seen in the Old Testament prophets addressing Daniel's people.
Les explains that everything in God's dealing with the human race must be divided between His dealing with Israel, His earthly people, and the church, which are His heavenly people. He emphasizes that as you read and study your Bible, always remember this division. For example, all through the Old Testament, the prophets, when God said to Daniel, 'Thy people,' He was talking about Daniel's people—Israel.
