Is the government that comes from Abraham and David a democracy or a monarchy?

The government coming from the line of Abraham and David is a monarchy, not a democracy. It will be ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Though it is a monarchy, it will not be despotic or totalitarian; it will be benevolent, righteous, fair, and glorious.

Les explains that David becomes the beginning of the royal family that will lead not only through generations of this present existence but all the way into eternity. Out of the line of Abraham and David would come this government, but it is not going to be a democracy; it is going to be a monarchy ruled by the King, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Les clarifies that this King will not be a despot or a totalitarianist; He will be benevolent. His kingdom is going to be righteous, fair, and glorious. This prospect was laid out in the Abrahamic covenant, and the rest of the Old Testament from Genesis 12 onward into the New Testament rests on that covenant. Other covenants follow, including the Law with Moses and the promise that Israel would be brought back to their homeland, along with the promise to David of a royal family leading up to the King, which is the government.
