What kind of government will come from the line of Abraham and David?

Out of the line of Abraham and David comes a government that is not a democracy but a monarchy. It is ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and it is not despotic or totalitarian but benevolent, righteous, fair, and glorious.

Les teaches that David becomes the beginning of that royal family, a line that continues not only through generations of this existence but all the way into eternity. From the line of Abraham and David would come this government, and it will not be a democracy; it will be a monarchy, ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He explains that this King will not be a despot or a totalitarianist but benevolent. His kingdom will be righteous, fair, and glorious. This prospect was laid out in the Abrahamic covenant, and all the rest of the Old Testament from Genesis 12 into the New Testament rests on that covenant. God also made covenants with Moses and promised David a royal family leading up to the King, and that is the government.
