How steeped in idolatry was the world at the time of Abraham?

At the time of Abraham, the entire then-known human race was steeped in idolatry and mythology. Roughly two hundred years after the Tower of Babel, where all pagan religions began under Nimrod, the whole world was saturated in idolatry and paganism, leaving only one man with a spark of faith.

Les explains that between Noah and Abraham there were about 400 years, with the Tower of Babel in the middle. At Babel, under Nimrod, Satan, the god of this world, instituted all pagan and mythological religions. Every pagan or idolatrous religion began there. So by the time of Abraham, about 200 years after Babel, in 2000 B.C., the whole then-known world was steeped in idolatry or mythology—the Venuses, Aphrodites, and similar myths. Out of that race saturated in idolatry and paganism, God found one man, Abraham, who still had a spark of faith or the ability to believe.
