Can a biblical covenant ever be broken?

No. A biblical covenant, by definition, is an agreement that originates and ends in God. Even though made with man—as with Abraham and later Israel—it never becomes invalid regardless of what man does. It is never broken and never rescinded.

Les teaches that a covenant, by definition, is an agreement that originated and ends in God. Even though it is made with man, in this case with Abraham, and it will fall into the nation of Israel as history moves on, since it originates and ends with God, regardless of what man does, a covenant never becomes invalid. It is never broken. It is never rescinded. This is stated in the context of the Abrahamic covenant.
