Why do we need a new Earth?
A new Earth is needed because the present planet is too small to hold the 1,500-mile city; its curvature would leave much of the city unsupported. The new Earth must be vastly larger, with enough room for those in glory, including infants and children who grow to adulthood, without crowding.
Les explains that the 1,500-mile city would never rest on this little planet because the curvature of the Earth would fall away from it, leaving most of the city sitting out like bird's wings. He teaches the new Earth will be so huge that even a 1,500-mile city won't go beyond its curvature. It must be immense because infants and little children under the age of accountability who die are in glory as adults, and no one will be crowded. Heaven might be crowded, but the new Earth won't be. He adds that the 1,500-mile city is just our apartments, so to speak, and there will be food production.
