Is the rapture part of the first resurrection?
The rapture belongs to the first resurrection, which is the resurrection of the believer. It is the largest group within that first resurrection, described as the great resurrection day of the body of Christ. The first resurrection also includes the firstfruits and later Old Testament and Tribulation believers.
Les explains that the first resurrection is the resurrection of the believer and consists of three parts. The first group came out of the graves at Christ's resurrection and became the firstfruits. The next and largest group is the rapture, the great resurrection day of the body of Christ. Then the Old Testament believers and Tribulation believers who lost their lives will be resurrected, probably 75 days after Christ returns. All believers from Adam until the end are in the first resurrection.
