How big will the New Jerusalem be?

The New Jerusalem will be 1,500 miles long, 1,500 miles wide, and 1,500 miles high. That immense size means the new earth must be tremendously large to hold it and keep it in orbit, providing ample room for eternal bodies rather than cramped quarters.

Les explains that the New City, the New Jerusalem, will be 1,500 miles long, 1,500 miles wide, and 1,500 miles high. Because it is that large, it will take a tremendous planet to hold it and keep it in orbit. He says this should keep believers from ever thinking they will be cramped for room when they get to glory; the new earth will be so huge that there will be no massing together of our eternal bodies, but ample room instead. He even suggests that some day a person may have a planet all their own to rule and reign over, and it will be fabulous.
