Les explains that when you came to the end of the scientist's article, the scientist made an amazing statement. He said he could foresee that at some way out distant time in the future, that same whole universe would come right back to that original source of light. Les says he just about hit the ceiling, read it to Iris, and observed how close the man was to the truth, probably without knowing it. Les affirms that with God nothing is impossible: He flung the universe out with a spoken Word and can call it back at His will. Les thinks this is exactly what Peter is seeing—that it will all melt down and come right back to its original beginning. He suggests the reason it must be utterly redone is that Satan has touched everything God has ever created and polluted the whole universe, so the only way to go into an absolutely pure eternity without any of Satan's fingerprints is for it all to be brought back in and recreated. Les then connects this to the promise of new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, comparing it with Revelation 21.
