Les Feldick Bible Study

What does Les believe will happen to the universe at the end?

The whole universe will be totally melted down and brought right back to the very God who created it. Scripture describes the heavens passing away with great noise, elements melting with fervent heat, and the earth and its works being burned up and dissolved.

Les teaches that the day of the Lord runs from the beginning of the tribulation all the way into eternity. Using II Peter 3, he explains that the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth and the works in it shall be burned up, and all these things shall be dissolved. He says he is beginning to believe more and more that the whole universe is going to be totally melted down and brought right back to the very God that created it in the first place. He also recalls reading an article in a scientific journal by a famous physicist who concluded that everything had come from an original source of light, and from that source of light all of the universe came into being.

2 Peter 3:10

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
