Why is there no chance for salvation at the Great White Throne judgment?
At the Great White Throne, Christ is no longer the benevolent Savior but the stern, righteous, fair, and just Judge. All unbelievers of the ages are brought before Him, and there is no chance for salvation because He is then Judge rather than Savior.
Les explains that the Great White Throne judgment occurs after the thousand years have been consummated. By that time the antichrist, the false prophet, and Satan are already at the lake of fire; they are the only three personalities who go there without standing before the Judge at the Great White Throne. The Great White Throne is where all unbelievers of the ages, beginning from Genesis 3 onward, will be brought before Christ the Judge. Les notes that Cain is the first of the lost people dealt with. At this judgment, Christ is no longer the benevolent Savior but the stern, righteous, fair, and just Judge, so there is no chance for salvation. Les also connects John's description with II Peter chapter 3, verse 10, where the earth and heaven flee away from His face.
