What happens to unsaved people at the Great White Throne judgment?
At the Great White Throne, every unsaved or lost individual is brought to their place of answering and sees the record of what they have done in the flesh. They then go to their doom. Scripture indicates degrees of punishment, so some, like the innocent or morally good, will suffer less than vicious criminals.
At the end of the thousand years, after time as we know it ends, everyone is brought to their place of answering for what they have done in the flesh. Les explains that the Great White Throne is for unbelievers, while believers already had their judgment or rewards given out shortly after the Rapture. Every lost individual sees the record and goes to his doom. Les also teaches there will be degrees of punishment: a person who lived a good life and thought he was doing right will not suffer as much as a vicious criminal. Jesus illustrated this when He said it would be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for Capernaum in the judgment day, because Sodom and Gomorrah would have repented in sackcloth and ashes had they witnessed what Capernaum witnessed.
