Why are people sent to their doom at the great white throne?
At the great white throne, the lost are sent to their doom because they refuse to recognize who Jesus Christ really is. Though they may have promoted other gods or practiced religion, they come before Him speechless, having remained ignorant of His true identity as the Creator.
Les explains that when the lost person is drawn up before the great white throne, they will be speechless. He says that no matter how many other gods they have promoted or how much religion they have practiced, they are sent to their doom because they refuse to recognize who He really is. Les also laments that the world, including Western cultures that base much on this book, can be totally ignorant of who Jesus Christ really is. He connects this to Jesus Christ as the Creator of Genesis 1, the one who created all the hosts of heaven.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
