To whom is all biblical prophecy directed?
All biblical prophecy is directed solely to the Jew. The prophetic promises and end-time events concern the nation of Israel, not the Church. The idea that God was finished with Israel and transferred those promises to the Church destroys end-time prophecy, since it contradicts the sole focus of prophecy.
Les teaches that around 300–315 A.D., Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity, causing the Church to explode in numbers. Church Fathers, beginning with one in Alexandria, saw the Jewish Temple destroyed and the Jews scattered across the Roman Empire, and concluded God was through with the Jew. They thought the promises to Israel and Abraham were abrogated and transferred to the Church. Les stresses that this destroys all end-time prophecy, because all prophecy is directed solely to the Jew.
