Les Feldick Bible Study

What land did God give Abraham as a title deed, and when will it be fulfilled?

God gave Abraham as a title deed all the territory of the Middle East inhabited by those tribes. It will not be fulfilled until Christ sets up His kingdom, at which time it becomes Israel's homeland, with the twelve apostles ruling the twelve tribes from Jerusalem.

Les teaches that all the territory of the Middle East inhabited by those tribes was given as a title deed to Abraham, and it will not become fulfilled until Christ sets up the kingdom. At that time it will be the homeland of Israel. The twelve apostles will sit under Christ’s throne there at Jerusalem, ruling the twelve tribes. That is the kingdom as the twelve apostles understood it. Paul also speaks of the kingdom, but since the kingdom is not now on earth—it is in heaven—Paul speaks of our citizenship as being in heaven. In Colossians 1, at salvation we were translated from darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son, which is in heaven. When Christ returns to the earth with His kingdom, we will be with Him and come back with Him, not in physical bodies of reproduction or male and female; Jesus said we will be as the angels, yet bodily present. Paul taught it, John taught it, and the one who wrote Revelation did too.
