Les Feldick Bible Study

What will farming be like in the Millennial Kingdom?

In the Millennial Kingdom, farming will be an easy life of tremendous food production. Weeds, insects, fungus, and molds that hinder crops today will not be present. One crop will be harvested and the next planted, with constant planting and harvesting but without today's sweat and toil.

Les explains that in the Kingdom there will be no weeds, insects, fungus, molds, or other things that hinder good crop production today. It will be an easy life of tremendous food production: one crop will be harvested, and they will plant the next one. He compares this to double cropping in the western wheat country, where wheat is followed by soybeans and harvested before the next wheat crop, but in the Kingdom this will be universal—a constant following of planting and harvesting without the sweat and toil of today. He also cites the prophecy that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, the treader of grapes him that soweth the seed, the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. Then God says He will bring again the captivity of His people Israel, and they shall build cities.
