During the tribulation, what happens to most people?
During the tribulation, most people will lose their lives, but a few will be left when it ends. Of that small percentage of survivors, the believing sheep enter the Kingdom and become parents of the children seen in Isaiah chapter 11, under Christ’s perfect rule.
Les explains that during the tribulation most people will lose their lives, but when they come to the end, a few are left. He even used figures on the board, asking what if the world’s population were something like 5 million and only 2 or 3 percent survive. Of that percentage of survivors, Matthew 25’s sheep and goats are considered: the sheep, who were believers among this few, come into the Kingdom and become the parents of the children seen in Isaiah chapter 11. In that Kingdom there will be no death, no sickness, no curse, no Satan, and Christ will be in total control with a perfectly perfect rule and government, resulting in a tremendous population explosion. Isaiah 11:9 says they will not hurt or destroy in all His holy mountain, and Les notes that a mountain in the Old Testament especially is a Kingdom, so there will be no hurting, destroying, or death to speak of, because the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the water covers the sea.
