How will Christ rule over the Millennial Kingdom?
Christ will rule the Millennial Kingdom in total control, with a perfectly perfect rule and government. There will be no death, sickness, curse, or Satan, and no hurting or destroying in His holy mountain. The earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as waters cover the sea.
Les teaches that after the tribulation a few survivors remain, and the believing sheep of Matthew 25 enter the Kingdom and become parents of the children seen in Isaiah 11. During that earthly Kingdom there will be no death, no sickness, no curse, and no Satan. Christ will be in total control, exercising a perfectly perfect rule and government, resulting in a tremendous population explosion. Isaiah 11:9 adds that they will not hurt or destroy in all His holy mountain; Les explains that a mountain in the Old Testament especially represents a Kingdom. So there will be no hurting, destroying, or death to speak of in His Kingdom, because the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the water covers the sea. Les then moves to Amos chapter 9 as one of many Old Testament highlights of this earthly Kingdom.
