Will wild animals and domestic animals live together in the millennial kingdom?
Yes, in the millennial kingdom wild and domestic animals will live together. The lion and lamb lie down together, the cow and bear feed together in the same locale, their young lie down together, and the lion eats provender—forage or grasses—like cattle.
Les explains that today's animal kingdom is in total opposition—a lion would eat a lamb in a second—but in this coming scene they lie down together. He points out that wild animals will cohabit with domestic animals, and a little child will be in their midst, leading them. The cow and bear feed together in the same locale, and their young lie down together, not separated and eyeing one another. The lion, a carnivorous meat-eater today, will eat provender, which is forage or grasses, like an ox or cattle. Les also urges comparing Scripture with Scripture, referencing Genesis chapter 1.
