Will human beings reproduce at the start of the millennial kingdom?
Yes. Scripture indicates children will be present in the millennial kingdom, and the inspired Word uses them as proof that human beings will enter the kingdom at its front end and reproduce. Isaiah’s mention of nursing and weaned children shows the curse’s ravages gone and normal human generation continuing.
Les explains that Isaiah chapter 11 describes the millennial kingdom, where even ferocious, carnivorous animals cohabit with the lamb, the goat, and human children. Isaiah 11:8 speaks of the nursing child playing on the hole of the asp and the weaned child putting his hand on a cockatrice. Les points out that three children are mentioned in just two verses, so this is not a slip of the pen or a wild idea. The inspired Word of God tells us that when this kingdom is set up, all the ravages of the curse will be gone, and it will revert to the beauty, glory, and tranquility that existed before sin entered. Those little children are proof that human beings will come into the kingdom at the front end and reproduce.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
