How does Paul's teaching on the Kingdom compare to the Old Testament and the Gospels?

Paul addresses the Kingdom less extensively than the Old Testament and the Gospels, which presented it to Israel with the King at hand. Yet Paul teaches that believers are already translated into the Kingdom, made partakers of the saints' inheritance, and that the Kingdom now resides in glory in the person of Christ.

Les explains that Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, does not dwell a lot on the Kingdom per se, not nearly as much as the Old Testament does and the Gospels as it pertained to Israel. Nevertheless, Paul shows believers are involved in the Kingdom. In Colossians 1:12-13, Paul gives thanks to the Father who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, delivered us from the power of darkness, and has already translated us into the Kingdom. So we are already members of the Kingdom, but the Kingdom tonight is in glory, in the person of Christ. When He was on earth, John the Baptist approached Israel saying the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand because the King was at hand.
