Who are the armies that follow Christ in Revelation 19:14?

The armies following Christ in Revelation 19:14 are a congregation, not a military assortment. They are the church age saints, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, who attend His Second Coming to earth. The fine linen represents the righteousness of the saints.

Les explains that verse 14’s “armies” should not be taken as a military assortment of people but as a congregation. He ties this company to the marriage of the Lamb in Revelation 19:7-8, where the wife is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, and the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. He says this company will attend Christ’s Second Coming, returning to earth, and he feels it is the church age saints. He also notes that tribulation saints will be included in ruling and reigning with Christ for a thousand years, and we are included as well.

Revelation 19:14
