Will the lost also be resurrected according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 15?
According to Paul in 1 Corinthians 15, the lost will indeed be resurrected. The context states that the power of God will resurrect the lost as well at a future time. Every human being in the human race is going to be resurrected, but each in his own particular order or company, not all simultaneously.
Les teaches that Paul is primarily addressing believers in 1 Corinthians 15:22-23, but the same power of God that raises the believer will also resurrect the lost at a future time. The phrase "in his own order" is a military term for an organized company or battalion, showing that every human being will be resurrected, but not all at once. Christ is the firstfruits, then afterward those who are Christ's at His coming, and then comes the end, which follows the tribulation. So resurrection is universal in scope, though ordered in sequence and company.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
