Les Feldick Bible Study

Will resurrected believers live on earth as part of the population during the millennial kingdom?

No. Resurrected believers will not be part of the millennial kingdom’s flesh-and-blood population. They will serve as resurrected saints in positions of authority, interfacing with those normal citizens rather than living as that population. God will assign each believer an area of responsibility in that kingdom economy.

Les explains that the citizens who fill the earth during the kingdom will be normal flesh-and-blood people, having children, working, and producing, but without sin or the adversary and under Christ’s perfect righteous rule. He then clarifies that resurrected believers “won’t be part and parcel of that flesh-and-blood population.” Instead, they will be “interfacing with them” from their place of authority as resurrected saints. God will give every believer an area of responsibility. Les draws an illustration from the account of the talents: the servant who returned ten talents was told he would rule over ten cities, suggesting various amounts of responsibility in the kingdom economy. He admits he cannot explain exactly how it will be done, but says that is what believers work for—reward.
