What is Babylon in the book of Revelation according to Les Feldick?
The book of Revelation uses Babylon to refer to the great world system—the final worldwide order encompassing religion, politics, and economics. It is the whole economy and whole world system at the end, as the study of Revelation 18 presents.
Les explains that in Revelation 18 he is dealing with the great world system, which he thinks the book of Revelation refers to as Babylon. He identifies it as the final world system—the whole economy, including religious, political, and economic aspects—the all-encompassing world order of the last days. He urges listeners to compare Scripture with Scripture and to be faithful to the Word of God rather than to a denomination.
