What kind of believers is the admonition to leave Babylon aimed at?
The admonition is aimed at believers who may desire to be part and parcel of the lifestyle of the rich and famous. It speaks to God’s own people—those living even before the Tribulation—who might be tempted to join that sumptuous, immoral world system; God expects His own to shun it.
Les explains that the "come out of her" admonition does not apply only to the last final hours of the Tribulation, but speaks to you and I who are living before the Tribulation has begun. It is directed to believers who may have some kind of desire to be a part and parcel of that lifestyle of the rich and famous. The call is to come out of this world system, out of this system of wealth and immoral type living, and the words "My people" show it is for God's own. Les says God does not expect the unsaved world to drop that lifestyle, but He expects His own to shun it, so they will not be partakers of her sins—her lifestyle—and not receive of her plagues.
