Les Feldick Bible Study

How does Les describe the lifestyle most wealthy people are living?

For the most part, wealthy people are described as living a sumptuous, immoral lifestyle, feasting on riches and abundant delicacies, surrounded by beautiful furnishings and fabulous clothes. They have enveloped themselves in immoralities money can buy and have no moral component; Solomon called it vanity.

Les explains that these wealthy people are taking home tremendous salaries—a million, two million, three million dollars a year—and he cannot envision any one man being worth that much every twelve months. He says this is where the world is coming to. They have enveloped themselves in all the immoralities money can buy and have no moral component, though he notes there are always a few exceptions. But for the most part, Les teaches, these wealthy people live a lifestyle that is sumptuous and immoral, feasting on their riches and abundance of delicacies, with beautiful furnishings and fabulous clothes. Solomon would have called it vanity. Meanwhile, most believers are of very limited means, though the Lord has seen fit to bless a few with abundance.
