What convinces the kings of the earth to send their armies to the Middle East?
Demonic creatures working miracles convince the kings and leaders of the nations to send their armies to the Middle East. The Antichrist also issues the call through emissaries, urging them to bring armed forces, while the sovereign God is ultimately behind the gathering.
Les explains that during Desert Storm, President Bush would pick up the phone and call national leaders by their first name, convincing them to put their marbles in one basket for a unified effort against Saddam Hussein. Les said that was a tiny preview of the end-time gathering. The Antichrist will do much the same, likely picking up the phone and sending emissaries to various capitals, urging nations to bring their armed forces and get rid of the big problem plaguing them—the Jew. These demonic creatures, working miracles, will convince the kings and leaders of the world to send their armies to the Middle East. Yet the sovereign God is behind it, working through the Antichrist's mindset to gather them to Armageddon, called in the Hebrew tongue Megiddo. Les notes that Megiddo is an ancient city with archaeological digs and Solomon's horse stalls, overlooking a beautiful flat valley. The Lord reminds us to watch and keep our garments, for His Second Coming is near.
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
