Where in Revelation did John previously see the heavenly temple opened and the seven angels with seven plagues?
The earlier vision occurred in Revelation chapter 11. There John saw the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven opened, and the seven angels came out of the temple having the seven plagues. The present vision repeats that scene as the final bowl judgments are introduced.
Les explains that the heavenly temple being opened and the seven angels with the seven plagues was seen once before, back in Revelation chapter 11. In the current vision, the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven is opened again, and the seven angels come out having the seven plagues. These are the final bowl judgments. The angels are clothed in pure white linen with golden girdles, and one of the four living creatures, which Les identifies as angelic beings, gives them seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God.
