What are the twenty-four elders declaring in Revelation 11?

The twenty-four elders declare that God is over all, thanking the Lord God Almighty who was, is, and is to come for taking His great power and reigning. They announce His wrath has come, the time for judging the dead, rewarding servants, prophets, saints, and destroying those who rebel and destroy the earth.

Les teaches that in Revelation 11, the twenty-four elders are declaring that God is over all and that He is going to destroy those who have rebelled against Him. They give thanks to the Lord God Almighty, who was, is, and is to come, because He has taken His great power and reigned. Verse 18 announces that His wrath has come, the time of the dead to be judged, reward for His servants, the prophets, the saints, and those who fear His name, and destruction for those who destroy the earth. Les notes this is coming close to the end of the seven-year period. Then verse 19 describes the temple of God opened in heaven, the ark of His testament seen, with lightnings, voices, thunderings, earthquakes, and great hail.
