What happens when the angel casts the censer fire to the earth in Revelation?

The angel fills the golden censer with fire from the altar and casts it into the earth. This action begins the trumpet judgments and is accompanied by voices, thunderings, lightnings, and still another earthquake, reminiscent of God's descent on Mount Sinai.

Les explains that the incense represents the prayers of the saints rising as a sweet aroma of worship and holiness before God. These prayers come at the midpoint of the tribulation, in heaven's throne room. Then the angel takes the censer, fills it with the fire of the altar, and casts it into the earth. Les teaches this is the beginning of the trumpet judgments, bringing voices, thunderings, lightnings, and still another earthquake. He connects these phenomena back to Exodus, when God came down on Mount Sinai with thunderings, lightnings, and His voice, now replayed on a grander scale. The seven angels then prepare themselves to sound.
