What does the seventh seal introduce?
The seventh seal introduces the trumpet judgments. It is the final seal, opened after the sixth seal, and it sets in motion the next phase of end-time events. These trumpet judgments follow after the midpoint. The seventh seal is not covered at the same time as the first six seals.
Les explains that Revelation chapter 6 presents the seals on the scroll from Revelation 5, which was indicative of a mortgage. The seals include the white horse, symbolizing the coming of the Antichrist; the red horse, symbolizing the Russian invasion; the pale horse, symbolizing famine and disease; and the black horse, indicating the great death and destruction that will come as a result of the famine. The sixth seal is opened at verse 12. There are seven seals, but the seventh one is covered a little later because it is going to introduce the other trumpet judgments that will follow after the midpoint.
