Will God restore Israel to its original promises and covenant position?
Yes. Scripture indicates God will yet come back and restore the nation of Israel to its original promises and covenant position. Israel's blindness is partial and temporary, lasting until God finishes His work with the Gentiles; then blindness is lifted, and all Israel shall be saved.
Les teaches that God is still going to finish His program with Israel. Although they stumbled, God forbid that they should fall or be destroyed; rather, through their fall salvation came to the Gentiles. Their great future is still ahead of them. After establishing that God will yet come back and restore the nation of Israel to its original promises and covenant position, He gives a time frame: blindness in part has happened to Israel until God has finished His work with the Gentiles. Then He takes us out of the way, and the blindness will be lifted from the Jew, and so all Israel shall be saved.
