What does God promise to do for Israel in the future when they call on His name?

In the future day, God promises that when Israel calls on His name, He will hear them, acknowledge them as His people, and say, “It is My people.” Israel will then respond, “The Lord is My God.” This reverses prior times when He would not hear them because of unbelief.

Les explains that other portions of Scripture show God telling Israel they could cry, but He would not hear them, because in unbelief they were not His people. But now, in the yet-future day, they will call on His name, and He will hear them. He will say, “It is My people,” and they shall say, “The Lord is My God.” In Daniel, God calls them “thy people” to Daniel, not claiming them as His own, but here He will.
