Is there a great earthquake at the midpoint of the tribulation?
Yes. At the very midpoint of the tribulation, a tremendous earthquake occurs, according to Revelation chapter 6 and again chapter 11. This great earthquake triggers or sets in motion the final events of the last three and a half years, following the resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses and the Antichrist's defilement of the temple.
