What sequence happens as the church age winds down?
As the church age winds down, the final Gentile is brought in; then the Church is taken out; Israel is back in the land and ready to be dealt with in the tribulation events. This removal precedes God's renewed dealing with Israel in the final seven years.
Les explains that the seven-year period was shoved out into the future because Israel did not respond to the offer of the king and the kingdom. In between, God calls out the body of Christ, the church age, the age of grace. Les says we are getting close to the end of that period, when the Lord will take it out. God did not deal with the church when He was dealing with Israel, which was Jew only; now He deals primarily with the Gentile while the Jew is in dispersion. So before He can come back and deal with Israel again in the final seven years, the Gentile body of Christ must be removed from the scene, because God does not deal on both sides of the fence at the same time. Thus, as the church age winds down and the final Gentile is brought in, the church is taken out, Israel is back in the land, and is ready to be dealt with in the tribulation events. Les also stresses keeping straight in mind the events at the very opening.
