What did Israel keep rejecting after Pentecost?

After Pentecost, Israel continued to reject the Old Testament promises of the King and the Kingdom, along with her calling to be the evangelist to the pagan world. They rejected their Messiah and their King, which led to spiritual decline and eventual dispersion.

Les explains that after the crucifixion and Pentecost, Israel kept rejecting the offers of the Old Testament promises of the King and the Kingdom. They also rejected their role to literally be the evangelist to the pagan world around them. Because they rejected their Messiah and King, Israel went down spiritually, and in 70 A.D., forty years after Pentecost, God sovereignly permitted the Roman army under Titus to destroy the temple and Jerusalem and disperse the Jews. God then turned to the Gentiles with the Age of Grace. Les also connects this to Daniel 9, where 490 years were determined upon Israel, with a break in the prophetic timetable.
