What does Les Feldick say people will realize when they start studying the Bible?
When people simply get into the Book and study it, they will soon realize that it is exciting, interesting, and not as closed a book as most people think. Getting people into Scripture is the goal, and even a listener who disagreed promised to start studying her Bible.
Les explains that the only reason he teaches is to get people into the Book. He recalls a lady at Macalester who said she did not agree with him, but she promised herself that she was going to start studying her Bible. He says that is all he asks, because if he can get folks to simply get into the book and study it, they will soon realize that it is exciting, it is interesting, and it is not as closed a book as most people think.
