What will God do for the 144,000 Jews in the tribulation?

God will let the 144,000 Jews taste what Israel as a whole missed: they will circle the globe, go to every tongue, tribe, and nation, and see a multitude come to salvation through their ministry to Gentiles. They will also be martyred.

Les explains that Israel was given the law to prepare them to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, but when the opportunity came they rejected the king and the kingdom, were dispersed, lost their temple and worship, and God turned to the Gentiles. Using that same analogy, Les teaches that God will let the 144,000 Jews at least get a taste of what the nation as a whole missed. They are going to literally circumvent the globe, go to every tongue and tribe and nation, and see a multitude come to a knowledge of salvation through their ministry. Their ministry is to the Gentile nations, not Israel per se. The context then pictures those people standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands, crying with a loud voice, “Salvation to our God, who is set upon the throne and unto the Lamb,” and says they are going to be martyred.
