Who will hear the 144,000's message during the Tribulation?
Scripture indicates that multitudes from every tongue, tribe, and nation will hear the message of the 144,000 during the Tribulation. These 144,000 Jewish witnesses will see a great harvest of souls believe and be converted, though many of those converts will be martyred under those horrible circumstances.
Les explains that John said in Revelation 7 that the 144,000 will see a multitude believe and be converted, but they will be martyred. Les disagrees with Tim LaHaye's suggestion that these 144,000 may possibly see more converts in their years of ministry than the church age has in 2,000 years. Les views the church age as still God's main harvest, while the tribulation saints are merely the gleanings and the harvesting of the corners. Nevertheless, Les teaches that these young Jewish men will supernaturally redeem Israel from what they missed 2,000 years ago and will see a great harvest of souls under horrible circumstances. Someone in a class suggested it will be easy to bring people to believe because of the awful circumstances, and anything would be better than what they are in. Les does not know whether that is the case, but the Scripture says there will be multitudes from every tongue and tribe and nation that will hear the message of the 144,000.
