What is different during the final seven-year tribulation after the church is gone?
During the final seven years after the church is gone, the age of grace has ended. There is no longer an invitation to join a local congregation. Instead, 144,000 sealed Jews go around the globe with the gospel of the kingdom, telling the world that the King is coming.
Les teaches that there is a vast difference between the gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of the grace of God, and recognizing that difference clears up much confusion. In the final seven years after the age of grace has ended and the church is gone, there is no longer an invitation to join a local congregation. Instead, the 144,000 young Jews—12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, with Dan and Ephraim left out because they first went into idolatry under Joshua—will go around the globe with the gospel of the kingdom. Their message is that the King is coming, echoing Christ's earthly ministry. After they are sealed, John sees a great multitude from all nations that no man could number. This points to the time when Christ will return to deal with Israel, His covenant people.
