Why will Russian forces not attack Western Europe in the end times?

Les explains that, contrary to the world's general thinking, the Russian forces will not concern themselves with Western Europe because that is going to be the domain of the Antichrist. That power has to be in place for the Battle of Armageddon. He also notes that prophetically only three areas are really involved in the last days of the Tribulation or Armageddon: Western Europe, the Orient, and parts of Africa. There is nothing in prophecy concerning the very end that involves the Russian hordes or the Western Hemisphere. So God will literally turn the Russian forces away from Western Europe and bring them down into the Middle East, but not Russia alone; a consortium of nations comes with this Northern Confederation to the hills and mountains of Israel, including Persia, now called Iran, and Ethiopia.
