How do Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet work together?
Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet function as an unholy trinity working in unison. The false prophet counterfeits the Holy Spirit by causing people to worship the Antichrist, and he and the Antichrist operate under Satan's control and power. The two men go to their doom; Satan joins them later.
Les teaches that the false prophet and the Antichrist are two humans who are part of this unholy trinity. They are men and will go to their doom, while Satan will also go there but join them sometime later. Les explains that Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet are working in unison much as the Holy Trinity does. Just as the Holy Spirit in the Age of Grace points people to God the Son, and teaches, encourages, and reproves believers so they bring honor and glory to the Son, the false prophet during the tribulation causes people to worship the Antichrist. He thus fulfills a counterfeit role of the Holy Spirit. Both the false prophet and the Antichrist are under the control and power of Satan.
