How many European nations will belong to the common market before the Antichrist rises?
The common market of Europe will ultimately consist of ten nations. Although the number may temporarily rise to twelve, fourteen, or fifteen, it will drop back to ten, and the Antichrist will rise from among those ten nations to usurp power.
Les explains that the Antichrist does not come in by military might or by fighting wars, but peaceably and with flattery, as a political maneuverer and charismatic individual. He gets his ducks in a row peaceably, with the threat of power behind him, such as western Europe still having NATO, but not yet actual military power as his command. A crown is given to him, and the world will recognize him as the leader. Les teaches that he comes up out of the common market of Europe, out of those nations that come together.
