God will pay off Satan's mortgage on the planet in full through the judgments and events of the seven years of tribulation. That period culminates in the world's delivery from the curse, when dominion, glory, and the kingdom are given to the Son, reversing Adam's loss and Satan's control.
Les explains that Adam originally had dominion in Genesis 1 but lost it when he sinned and was disobedient. Satan picked it up when Adam dropped it, becoming the mortgage holder, or the one who placed the whole planet under his control. That mortgage is what God is dealing with, and He will pay it off in full by virtue of the judgments and events of the seven years of tribulation. At the end, this brings the world to a delivery from the curse, which Jesus in Matthew 24 refers to as the beginning of travail. Then, in Daniel 7:14, the Son is given dominion, glory, and a kingdom—a visible, viable, political, governmental kingdom on the earth.
